Risoto de Frutos do Mar

Amy Koch - The Chef

I attended Tante Marie's Cooking School in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood.  I have worked as a Personal Chef, Cooking Instructor, and Caterer throughout the Bay Area.  I enjoy fine wine and hanging out at the beach, sometimes I enjoy them together.

Most of my recipes are inspired by the changing seasons and by what's fresh at the farmer's markets.  I focus on California Cuisine but I also love experimenting with cuisines from other other cultures.  Doesn't everything go well with a glass of wine?

Spaghetti or linguini
Cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
Parsley, finely chopped
Garlic, minced
Anchovies, roughly chopped
Red pepper flakes
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt to taste

I'm a little sweet and a little savory. I'm almost always hot and spicy, and a little al dente, which puts some people off. I'm usually fresh, except when I have to travel long distances. Sometimes I'm described as fishy or a bit seedy. Best when thoroughly tossed, I'm likely to end the evening lying on the floor or in the sewer.

Antoinne von Rimes - Contributor

Antoinne von Rimes has worked as a baker, pastry chef, caterer, and cook, but since much of this experience was achieved in the service of his country he can not talk about it, or mention the branch of government for which he worked.

All he can and will say is, “sugar is more dangerous and lethal than you will ever know.” He lives and works in San Francisco, California, but longs to be back in Paris, and fantasizes about spending all his money on pastry in Vienna, Austria.

This isn't really a picture of Heather.  Heather doesn't show up on film.  This is; however, a good indication of what Heather has to put up with at home... notably, her husband throwing food at the baby...
